Process

From site to settlement in five steps.

Allovar manages the chain from identification through logistics, downstream processing and settlement. We are not the processor; we route material to the right processor or buyer.

How it works

The recovery chain.

Retired components leave your site and reach the right processor. We run each step in between.

  1. Identification

Tell us what you have, where it is, and roughly how much. Photos of the material and site conditions help us prepare.

  2. Evaluation

XRF analysis on site or on samples. We determine the grade, estimate the weight and assess condition, including contamination such as refractory lining or catalyst.

  3. Offer and buyer

Allovar finds the right processor or buyer for the grade. The offer is priced on the evaluated grade and the estimated weight; settlement is on verified weight and assay.

  4. Logistics

Cutting and sizing where needed, containers, trucks and documents. We arrange the move.

  5. Settlement

You are paid on verified weight and assay, with the documents for the whole chain.

What you get

Managed execution.

One contact

One point of contact runs the whole chain. You do not need to manage multiple vendors, freight brokers, or processing facilities.

A documented chain

We track the material from identification to processing. You receive the documents for each link of the chain.

Verified weight and assay

Settlement is calculated on scale weight and the assay at the processing facility, not on the estimate made on site.

Questions

Logistics and pricing.

How are prices set?

The offer follows the grade and the recoverable metal content found in evaluation. Settlement is on verified weight and assay at the processing facility.

Who arranges freight?

Allovar handles all logistics. We arrange the trucks, provide the necessary containers, and coordinate the loading schedule with your site personnel.

What documents are provided?

Documentation of the chain from site to settlement: the evaluation, the shipping documents and the settlement on verified weight and assay.

What if the grade is unknown?

Most material arrives without a known grade. We read it by XRF on site or on samples before making an offer.

Ready to start the process?

A description, a location and a rough quantity are enough to begin.
